This Stanley #4 Smoother Type 16 has has just enough rust removed to feel confident there are no cracks or breaks. The back of the iron has been flattened and iron sharpened.

The tote had a nasty multi part break and has been epoxied and sanded to 220 grit. The finish choice has been left to the new owner to apply.

The plane has been completely disassembled and well oiled.

The rest is up to you. It was tested so it can be used as is or further cleaning and polishing completed if desired.
