Stanley #6 SW Type 14 Fore Plane

The type 14 was the first type to have the raised rib under the front knob.
This plane has been lightly cleaned and sharpened. It is working quit well. The board being planed in the pictures is Ash.
Note the tote has been repaired in several places. It actually came to be nailed back together. Both knob and tote were refinished,.
The japanning is original and probably about 85-90%.
Blade is sharpened with a slight camber.
