All features of TYPE Il except:
— GG. All planes now equipped with a high front knob.
— GG. Brass adjustment nut is larger, 11/4″ diameter.
— HH. Minor design change of rib structure on frog just above adj. nut.
— JJ. Design change in lever cap. Edges not as rounded & less radius to the lever.
— X. New trademark stamped on irons of planes manufactured in 1920.
— Y. New trademark stamped on irons of planes manufactured in 1921 & 1922.
— AA. New trademark stamped on irons of planes manufactured in 1923-1935.

**Large depth adjuster nut (1 1/4”)  First Appearance
**Left handed depth adjuster nut
**Three patent dates behind frog
      — “MAR-25-02”

**No logo on the lever cap

**Just “STANLEY” On Lateral Adjuster
**Slightly longer rib on the back of the frog  First Appearance

**Note: 3 patents behind the frog and a large depth adjuster with a high knob would indicate a type 12.
